Answers come from the WordPilot Master Lexicon — 330,254 English words (build wordpilot-2026.08+0) — loaded on demand for the word lengths you search. Definitions appear where our data includes them; game-specific word lists (Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordle) are not licensed, so acceptance is shown as unverified rather than guaranteed.

How WordPilot rankings work

Every valid word from your letters is scored 0–100 by a deterministic Strategic Ranking engine — fixed maths, not a generative model, so the same letters always produce the same recommendation. The score combines tile value for the game you picked, word length, letter rarity, how many of your letters the play consumes, and the balance of vowels and consonants it leaves on your rack. Bingo potential and premium-square reach are layered on top in the Scrabble and Words With Friends modes.

Because the maths is fixed, WordPilot can show its reasoning: the Best Move card lists the strengths that pushed a word to the top and the tradeoffs it accepts, and each alternative explains why it ranks lower.
